I need the skin templates for Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Amy, Metal Sonic and Fang the sniper. I require them to do some modding which soon in atleast a month, be in works in pogress.

these sprites are on player.dta

already tried that
 
players.dta is a WAD file with its extension renamed.
It is located in the same folder as srb2win.exe, i.e. the game's folder.
The file can be opened with SLADE.

Or you can can get a template from sonic here:
copy this link and paste on browser and go to description from this video and download template.wad

OP hasn't been on since March...also this thread is over a year old too so- not a great idea to just do that-
