How to make caves/tunnels?

I love going trough tunnels under the ground, but I don't know how to make caves, nor tunnels! :(
(I can make simple FOF-s, like the one you can see in Meadow Match Zone)

Make 2 fofs. One on the left and one on the right and put it from the floor to the roof of the tunnel.

Step 1: Create a starting sector and a thok barrier with a choke point to be the tunnel.

Step 2: Create a new sector in the choke point that will be the tunnel.

Step 3: Create 2 thin triangle shaped sectors. (As seen below)

Step 4: Change the sector heights of the tunnel and fix missing textures. (Most easily done in 3d mode)

Step 5: Set the triangle sectors to have the same ceiling height as the thok barrier's ceiling.

There ya go. Hope I helped and stuff. :)

What? What's that step for? Can't you make a tunnel just as easily without adding extra sectors?

You only need to make those extra sectors if you don't want the upper texture to extend all the way up to the ceiling. See the first cave in GFZ1 for an example: as Tails, you can fly higher than the upper texture on the cave reaches.
