i know the creator !
i thought his mod rejected because it's a heavy modification or didn't have permission from sonic team junior !
but if it will cause problems (from joining it for a vanilla build) so i think it's good for all to be rejected ! thx moderators and other for explaining
So i'm gonna tell the creator about that problem and i hope things go good !

The real creator is ManimiFire, Costed him 3 years to make SRB2 Destructive Ilusion, and this guy just steals it, ouch.

Yeah, no. Please don't believe that person, the thing they're doing is the equivalent to tracing art and calling it theirs.
The real reason that it got ''rejected'' was because it wasn't even Master's to begin with.
Not to mention; Master's video description is full of contradictions, which he even claimed to make yet another add-on that was made by another user here.

It was... fine, I think?
It's been months since I've played, much less given thought to it; to paraphrase my thoughts from back then, it was a needlessly rushed, overambitious mess with a dash of decent ideas that ended far too soon, with little to no replay value outside of a shoe-horned "True Ending."
Did I enjoy my time with it? Yeah, but I'm always a sucker for any pseudo-expansion of SRB2, so I may not be the most unbiased judge.
That being said, I don't see the need for anybody here to pursue the mod's archival outside of morbid curiosity; I would have suggested heading over to a Wayback Machine archive of ManimiFire's release page, however A: I couldn't provide either the dead link or an external Wayback one per forum rules, and B: there wouldn't be a point even if I could share a link, seeing as all of the assorted download links on the archive page are broken. What a shame.
Should've saved my own copy of the files when I had the chance, but those are long gone by now.
If you're really dead set, then I would imagine that Manimi must still have the files stowed away somewhere. Be respectful, if you do get in contact.

Don't worry, good to hear that you understood us, also, "heavy modification", we have things like SRB2P in the MB lol, SRB2 DI was before in here, but the creator deleted it (i don't remember the reason).

Destructive Illusion is a source mod that doesn't have its own MODID, so it can be joined from a vanilla build of the game if it hosts a netgame, and that would be quite problematic. It hasn't been updated in that regard, so it's been sitting in Rejected Submissions since until the author decides to.

A MODID is an ID that identifies what executable someone is using to play the game. If the executable has a MODID that isn't the vanilla's ID, it won't be able to play on vanilla servers. If the ID is the same as vanilla, it can join the server, and with executable mods (like SRB2JTE for example) that change the gameplay, that is quite the issue.
