No it doesn't work. We are all lying about editing. Every addon you see doesn't exist.

Actually, you will not find the NiGHTS Super Sonic sprites in srb2.srb. You will find them in drill.dta. Copy drill.dta, and then erase the .dta part, and add a .wad. Then open it in XWE.

Actually, drill.dta contain only the drilling sprites. The NiGHTS Super Sonic is also found in soar.dta AND in srb2.srb, starting from the SUPZA0 sprite.
