How can I get this to start at LEVEL 101 (MAPA1)!?

It won't start at LEVEL 101 (MAPA1) and whenever I play this file, it always starts at LEVEL 1 (MAP01)!


I even have the MAPS set for it!


HELP!

Edit the Main Map settings by pressing F12, then edit the MH(Map Heador). Honestly, you already have a topic on this, so why make another?

Hmm, you can't really. I don't think Doom Builder has the ability to spawn directly to maps with numbers during testing.

*Selects new game*
*selects sonic, hopeing that it starts at LEVEL 101 (MAPA1)*
*After waiting for it to load, it starts at LEVEL 1 (MAP01)*

Quite simply, you don't. Why would the player want to play maps that are already in the game if they loaded a wad? Duh....

Mystic realm.wad starts at MAPA1.


I want my level wad to start at MAPA1.
But the file always plays at MAP01.


The only maps I have set is MAPA1-MAPAG.

They don't. However, for proper syntax, you should add a little more to the start of the file:

Maincfg Category
SPStage_Start = 101
RaceStage_Start = 101

It starts at Lv 1 (MAP01).GREENFLOWER ZONE 1.

I want it to start at the begining of my level wad. Lv 101 (MAPA1).EMERALD HILL ZONE 1.

Take mystic realm.WAD for an expale.

When begining a new game it goes to MAPA1 (Lv101).

I have the codes set but it just won't work for some reason...

...What are the contents of the MAINCFG lump in your file?

If you mean that you've been trying to add MAINCFG with DB, you can't. Use XWE.
