the high poly 2.1 models. i first saw them in a roblox game called Sonic RP: Mobius Megadrive. this was actually before i knew SRB2 could even USE 3D models.

First models? God it's so hard to really know who made them given this was back in the final demo era, Going by search results it would've probably been Ashnal's then?

It astonishes me how this ancient thread I posted 4 years ago is still (albeit spottily) active.
Thought I'd say that Logan Mcloud's low poly models were actually what got me into SRB2 in the first place. The trailer made the game look so cool. However, I didn't understand how to make them work until months after playing the game for the first time.

The first one i saw was jeck jims models. Though i saw the 2.1 version for that more years earlier before i first played SRB2.

When I started using model, back in the 2.0.7 days, Jeck Jim, and Virt's models were my go to.

As far the earliest popular models, when models first became useable in the game? I think that was the "Wizard" models.
Peppermin'ts game models. Still sad it discontinued.

Jeck Jims' 2.2 3D Models. It's the only model pack I have had since 2.2.8. I still use that model pack because it has this similarity between the sprites and the model pack (I'm not saying that they're the same, it's just they have a connection to each other).
