Okay i just downloaded this game and I've got a question to ask.

Is there any way of going on a server that has a lot of games going on 'cause everytime i go there's never any games... :( please help.

It's on the addons section of srb2.org, you're looking for 'SRB2 Netgame Launcher'.

You can also just use the Join Game (Search) menu. It filters out the unjoinable games (The host must have port 5029 UDP open in order to host).

Hah.. hundreds of servers won't happen even without all the glitches.
Beside, the glitches aren't THAT bad, it's just a matter of popularity. The more people know about it, the more they play. Glitches don't generally make less people play, just look at 90% of all MMORPGS..
