Well, it's not the seizure itself, IIRC. It was a car accident CAUSED by his seizure that gave him bruised ribs. I think.
FYI: Bruised ribs = bruised muscle around the ribs, I believe.

He had a seizure while at his desk, and bruised his ribs in the process. His drivers license was taken for a year in case it happens again, which of course would be fatal.

If he had one while driving, he'd have a lot more than bruised ribs.
