This is a common problem in SRB2. OpenGL is known to leak more memory, so I would suggest switching back to software to see if the SIGSEGVs happen less.

I barely have that problem with opengl and It wasn't opengl either that time. I somehow fixed It by disabling the latest ghosts, which probably used an (non-gameplay) script, so yeah. Bruh. xD Even if have the same script applied, the game breaks when ghosts are on. I realized It because the campaign and other stuff worked fine and software actually broke some stuff too.....

I probably should've mentioned that you should take what I said about OGL with a grain of salt, as that's only stuff I've heard around here like...once.
