Not to long ago (i think) SRB2 got natively ported to android so doesn't that mean doom can be natively ported to android to? Since SRB2 is using Dooms engine?

So srb2 is using a heavily edited engine
We must jave access to the source code of doom to do so

You just ended a discussion. :worry:

There's the Delta Touch sourceport on Android (The iPhone is pretty much closed so you'll have to pay for the official releases) but the fact they're selling it for money is suspicious.

Nobody should sell money for a sourceport (especially when the source code is released and not made by them).

As long as the source code is available and a device has the system specifications to run it, any game could be ported to any device to run natively. If the device is too weak, like trying to port say Sonic Colors Wii to the DS, it's not really possible which is why back in the day handheld titles used to be unique games compared to their console counterparts. In other cases such as the GBA Doom port, the device technically has the specs to run it but the controls needed to be adjusted to make it playable due to the limited number of buttons.

Overall, it's a case by case basis depending on hardware whether or not it's possible or feasible to port any game to any system. In the case of the original Doom, it's been ported to pretty much everything.
