BMZ2? (Blue Mountain Zone 2)

I was just picking out random maps by using the consol and I typed "map map17" and I appeared in a zone that didn't look finished. Heres some screenshots.
I wonder why there's lava here...

Does anybody know what this zone is?
 
I get it! that hole must be where at the end of RVZ1 you shoot up out of the volcano.
 
Although the sudden name change might confuse people. Red volcano was fine, and it can still be a volcano; a volcano is just a word for "Mountain with active magma in it". Volcanos can still be dormant and called volcanos, and they can still have snow on them.
 
I know that! I went there using MAP MAP something (forgot the number). I was expecting some stuff there but the level was short.

In that case I hope the 2nd act is a mix of fire & ice as I've naturally been thinking for years we were going to get a 2nd lava level. Then again Egg Rock Zone has just as many fire sections as Lava reef act 2 did, so I wouldn't mind if the whole 2nd act was an ice level.

Wether it turns out to be a full ice level or a mix of fire & ice I just hope they come up with good gimmicks for the ice sections other than slippery floors and water that hurts you, been done a million times.
 
I'd like a giant ice boat made with polyobjects that you ride on toward the end while avoiding airborne mines, or place the boss fight on it and have a melting boat docking in Dark City Zone at the start of act 1.

an example of polyobject use is in ERZ2, with those platforms that move left and right instead of up and down. its further complicated by the fact that there are no FOF's
 
Zanyhead, that's not a polyobject. It's actually a bunch of tiny platforms that dissapear/appear rapidly to give the illusion of moving.

Huh, that illusion definitely got me.

I figured it couldn't have been a polyobject, seeing as the flats are rendered.
 
But it can't just be dissapearing platforms because you stay on it when it moves.
