Hey! I've been working on my character for over a year now and just realized I never gave him a thread so...

Here is BlueTorch! Now his sprites are not the greatest. But that's not the point right now.
What matters is what he can do.

Double Jump:

Essential to platforming. Not much to say here.
Press jump while in the air to jump again.

Spin Thok:

A homing thok that can also be used to build momentum.
Press Spin midair to perform it. If you hold spin while homing, you'll stop upon hitting your target.

Crouch and Slide:

Simple crouch and slide. Helpful for going through spin gaps.
Hold Spin on the ground to crouch or slide.
Pressing a directional key while crouching will cause you to slide forward.

Peelout:

A Sonic CD staple. Hold custom 1 while on the ground to blast off at a high speed.
You can use it while moving to drift around corners.

Bodyslam:

Based on Pizza Tower's version, this can be used to fast fall or break bustables.
It can also power springs.

Parry:

Only really used in boss fights.
Pressing custom 3 before getting hit by a projectile to parry it.

Tricks:

Pressing custom 1 after launching off a spring or slope will allow you to trick.
Press jump or spin to release your stored tricks and launch upwards or forwards.
You can use this to reach higher areas.

Health:

Unlike most characters, BlueTorch has health. Take four hits and then you die.
You also only lose ten rings every time you're hit.
Don't worry, you can refill your health by passing a checkpoint.

Dashmode:

A staple of most custom characters. Run for 3 seconds to enter it.
If you don't like the dashmode or want to use momentum instead.
You can disable it by using bt_enabledashmode. (Or while only using momentum mods.)

BlueTorch doesn't use shield abilities.

Instead, most of them affect his double jump or spin thok.

Wind and Lightning:

Boosts your double jump height.

Force:

Double jump becomes a buffed fall switch.

Armageddon:

Sends you flying.

Thok Jump:

Pressing Jump while thoking will give you a high jump. Useful for crossing large gaps.
Holding backwards before using the move will give you a higher jump, but cut all your momentum.

Sliding preserves speed:

This allows you to gain way more dashmode speed than you were meant to.
Although it caps out at 150 Fracunits.

Passing a checkpoint gives you your speed and adds score.

Achievements. Find them in bt_menu.

Support for PTSR, ZE2, Persona(Mostly Complete), Battle(Unfinished.)

Blackout Punch from Pizza Tower when getting a boss into their pinch phase.

Hitting enemies at high speeds launches them.

Enemies that are launched explode in various ways upon hitting a wall or floor.

Sol Form. (Requires RushChars.)

And that's about everything within the character right now.

Even if he’s a random generic guy, he looks really fun to play with. I’m sure I will have a lot fun trying to find some obscure tech with him. :worry: And the sprite are cool looking too, it’s way different than any other ones I saw until now, it gives a vibe of some unofficial NES type game. And also visual effects are really pretty too and make him look more dynamic and c o o l .
