Well they probably want to space them out so they can do the best job they can in making the 3 movies, so I say "The longer the wait, the better the movie"(Hopefully).

M. Night didn't even try with some of the characters though(Freaking Katara). They look close enough, I usually don't pay attention to how the characters look compared to the films and the original source(If you're talking about that picture I posted, Come on, They didn't even try there either).
