Hey we all make mistakes, some more stupid than others.

There's making mistakes, being stupid, then there's becoming a prime example of what certain rules are supposed to prevent.

I wasn't trying to defend the exact person, just going agains the idea of "smitting people who happened to not have read the rules" yes it's common but hey just a simple "please read the rules" will do the same job as "you haven't read the rules, you're stupid and should be mocked for that"

Try switching to adventure mode (pause and jump or the command "samenu" or "sarushmode" (when rushmode is on)

So... to change Adventure Sonic's (v1.8) playstyle, open his in‑game options menu (“samenu” in the console (~ key), or press both pause (default to p key) and jump at the same time) and select Adventure Mode under the Play Styles section (or type sarushmode in the console (~ key) to disable/enable rush mode)

Something about v1.8c seems to have broken compatibility with dedicated servers. Just running a minimal test with nothing but Adventure Sonic on a dedicated server causes constant resyncs while playing as him. Is this one of the things that was fixed during the part of development that had to get temporarily reverted?

EDIT: I should mention this is an issue specifically with v1.8c. It doesn't happen with 1.8b.

EDIT: I should mention this is an issue specifically with v1.8c. It doesn't happen with 1.8b.

iirc it's because 1.8c is an earlier build of 1.9 (I'm not sure how far back in development, but) it's likely that those issues were fixed in 1.9 but may have been fixed sometime after phanto's involvement and golden chose to resubmit a build from before that, thus... the issues you see now

but this is more an assumption than a direct "I know it all" thing so take my words with a grain of salt
