Okay, I'll save you the trouble. You want to explore the exe_menu command or set exe_escapestyle to "mash" or "0". I personally modified my copy of the mod to make this my default since I suck at the newer style. I hope this helps!

I saw in a patch note that X apparently has i-frames after he's been stunned, but it didn't seem to work reliably even when I haven't stunned him before. Maybe things are working perfectly fine and I'm missing something important. What do I need to do? lol

In order for u to stun 2011x while rolling it would need to be in the first few frames of a spindash with his iframes down!
 
In light of some unsavory behavior I've observed that may or may not have been an indirect response to something I finally directly confirmed about another mod of mine, I'd like to take the opportunity to remind you all that X is canonically a trans ally!

While X generally sees its victims as closer to toys than friends, it's been stated that it does genuinely care for the gender expression of its transgender victims, which is why Kylie, a trans woman, was given an Amy vessel: in order to match her sense of identity, rather than her expressed personality taking precedence like with Julie, who was placed in a Knuckles vessel.

Technically, this isn't explicitly stated until X becomes Lord X, becoming more mature and treating its martyrs with more regard. That said, the difference between 2011X and Lord X isn't quite as much as some might think; I think the 2011X seen in this mod would be just as willing to give that kind of support, even if it hasn't met Kylie yet to put it into practice.

Whoever you are, X accepts you! Just don't expect it to go easy on you once the hunt is on.

In all seriousness, though. For all my fellow trans folks of all stripes, remember that I'll always stick up for you in this community, and so many others will, too. You're not alone. It's a scary time to be open about your identity, but as long as we have a hand to pull each other up, there's nothing we can't do.

Read the FAQ. That's not a feature of the base mod; I have seen an unofficial script that makes X killable, but I have no plans to make that a default feature.

There's no stun stacking, either. X is invulnerable while stunned.

I saw that comment earlier, actually! Chronic sent me it and I absolutely lost my mind, thanks for checking out the lil lua I made in my freetime and Chronic's video on it :D
 
Bug report: Samus from Metroid Vanguard just... dies to X's grab even when escaping. Then again Vanguard is a mod, so you don't have to bother. And let's face it, bosses would be tough with Mr. Subconjunctival Hemorrhage over here.
 
...not saying this as a request to you pikajade or anyone, just a suggestion, that's all, but...with all the videos of 2011x getting genuinely humbled to death by most if not EVERY character (though also because X...lowkey doesn't seem to get as much respect for what is shown of him in other forms of games/genres, which I don't blame y'all for, but then again...felt like he needed atleast some justice for his title, even if just self acclaimed), why not make a character mod for 2011x, to y'kno...allow him to showcase more of his power, what he's capable of and all? (I mean...he isn't called a GOD for no reason, after all...)

Well, glad to know it's not that kind of asshole, at least. lol

Also, I happened to look it up and found it is genderless, with it/its pronouns – which, given your post, I see you already know. I'm surprised nobody in the know told me after my first posts in this thread. 😅 I'm years behind on EXE lore, let alone this particular version of the character.

Oh well. Gonna throw hands with it regardless! While racing to the end goal as fast as I can, of course.

🤣 If they wanted X gone for such little effort, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have downloaded it in the first place. They want a fight!

But I think that needs to be its own boss battle and/or level pack or something. This is more like a challenge modifier, similar to Snick's Challenge or Lap 3 or 4 mods in Pizza Tower; to my knowledge, no one is seriously attempting to beat up Pizzaface before his final boss encounter. At least with X, you have a chance to get away if it does manage to catch you. lol
