2.2.14 breaks some add-ons

I have just noticed that SRB2 version 2.2.14 has come out. I have to make a recommendation to all of you players out there.
I have tried many different addons that, for reference, work perfectly fine on 2.2.13.
However, some of these addons can cause (and in my case, have caused) instances where on loading the addon, the game quits with a SIGSEGV error.
As a result, I would recommend that if you have an addon that does not work on 2.2.14,
AND it has not yet been updated to work on the new update, to grab a copy of 2.2.13 from the STJR GitHub,
and install it separately for compatibility reasons.

This is a known issue, and the team will soon put out a patch release that fixes this (along with a few other bugs that were found).

As far as I have read, this was caused by the content additions that were committed immediately before release (so reverting to a build anywhere between prerelease 4 and the official release should be good for addons).
 
As far as I know, relatively simple mods work just fine in 2.2.14, but it's not guaranteed.
 
I honestly think we should revert to 2.2.13 'til the final 2.2 patch arrives
It would take a long time for another patch to come up after 2.2.13, and it's been months since 2.2.14 wasn't announced yet. Even if mod compatibility is (mostly) broken, at least we got some form of a patch this January.
 
guys, someone said the problem was caused by the ugly knuckles bossfight at the end of final demo zone, apparently
its stated that it has too many freeslots in it
and only a custom exe file fixes the problem

they fixed it and released 2.2.15
apparently 2.2.14 isn't available anymore due to copyright or smth
but like why didn't they just call it "2.2.14a" or smth?
