    We cannot fix this, even with the really sticky and slippery v6 walljump we have now. The mach speed sections force you to have high forward velocity by disregarding your inertia, and/or velocity that isn't in that direction. sowwy!!! :3

    Collecting rings to each milestone will "level up" your topspeed and acceleration (both normal and boosted), once you reach a milestone you keep it (unless you are hit or die). You reach a "level" each 30 rings, and iirc this caps somewhere around 350 rings (don't quote me on this though)...
