Ok, so I had a previous thread about OpenGL not functioning for my Nvidia Shield. I ultimately concluded the Shield was just no longer compatible with the mode, which I only used due to performance tanking in Arid Canyon in Software mode anyways. (I prefer the look of Software mode regardless)...
