GlobalBanks: Custom Local Save File Function Library - How many emeralds can a hedgehog carry anyway?

Global Banks, a mod that globalizes the luabanks save file array, making it completely accessible at all times.
Normally, luabanks is limited to only being usable just once by a single file, any other files that try to use it after in the same session will simply error.
GlobalBanks intends to bypass this limitation by assigning the luabanks array to a global table,

Uhh... I kinda like this concept of being able to save Lua data and scripts on different save files, but I didn't understand what this mod does. I didn't understand the description. Does it save Lua scripts in save files, or does it only save the data from the Lua scripts? Does this work for any Lua script, including Updated Super Peelout? I didn't understand even a bit of what was said in the mod description. Could you explain a little bit more clearly about this mod for me, please?

If you aren't the one making mods, then this won't be of use to you.
What this does is manage a central shared save system that allows other mods to save data to separate save files. Those mods could easily do that without using this, but then they wouldn't be compatible with each other.
