Its-a him, Mr.retro, ever since buggie left the dev team for the smb1 mario he worked on, it felt incomplete, so it made me want to make my own, and thanks to Pacola for the movement code, Unmatched bracket for the flagpole, and Angrysonics for adding in the flagpole, i bring you an accurate smb1 mario for srb2, note; while its a full smb1 mario moveset remake, he was NOT made for srb2, we could not get him to beat srb2, but he can get far, plus using modded maps is reccomended as they are...

I know that but it’s in the PORTED characters section. Read my comment more carefully.
Edit: they fixed it so now it’s classified as a normal character.
Edit 2: a glitch just happend for me which showed it in the normal character category but it reverted back.

Oh... they did make a ports category
 
Some addon I enabled screwed up the hud and now the SMB1 hud is overlapping the base game hud. If anyone could tell me what addon is causing this then this would be nice. I had no other hud addons before you ask since that would more than likely cause something similar to happen. Also, you should make it so Mario can break cracked walls by touching them since some things like the token in GFZ Act 1 would be impossible otherwise

Don't you think it's more on the inaccurate side of things? Besides, you can get all of the Chaos Emeralds on replay sessions if you beat the game without hunting the tokens down.:worry:

What if a koopa shell spawns near said “cracked walls”, for mario to knock it into the wall and break it (like in the original smb games + mario maker (mario maker also lets you use shells as protection + other things that could potentially give mario the upper hand if ported to/re-made in srb2))

i mean theres still tokens you can get without needing to break walls, so its still very very possible to get the good ending

Cool mod but why is this classified as a ported mod?
i didnt classify it as that, maybe a mod did bc its literally a full on remake of the smb1 physics to srb2
