kriby's cute little mapping thread !!

haiiiii helllooooo heyyy haiiiii!!! you may know me as the guy who made Emerald Quest (the level pack not Sonic Emerald Quest), except you'd be wrong because i'm actually the GAL who made Emerald Quest! anyways, i've decided to start this thread because i realized that wow i really don't use this account for anything other than throwing some mods onto the message board, so i thought i'd make a thread to showcase some of my work in progress levels!

the level that i am currently working on is called Pink Park Zone!



the level's theme is a pink park (duh!!) filled with many DSZ-like ruins. it has water-related gimmicks, such as water slides and geysers that shoot you upwards. a few of you may recognize this level from the 72 Hour UDMF Collab!



there's even some gimmicks from ATZ, which i felt were very under-utilized in that level (for better or for worse, those tunnels with tons of glaregoyles are nightmare fuel)



anyways, that's enough yapping. here's a few more screenshots!

architecture? in MY sonic robo blast 2? it's more likely than you think.

whoops! forgot to post here for a little bit, but i have a good reason for that at least. i wanna refrain from showing the entire level in full from just W.I.P screenshots. aside from that, the level is actually getting really close to completion, and should hopefully appear in the next OLDC (whenever submissions open back up lol). for now, have a few more screenshots!

Will there be secrets? Like you do in Any maps you made?

yep! there will be a few secrets and extra little details hidden around the level when it releases. make sure you keep your eyes peeled for walls that look out of place...
