I've listened to the original OST a lot and I've noticed a few things you can fix, but most issues are "Change volume here" or "Use a slightly different piano here", so I won't mention it unless you want my help.

I have a "restored" version of the credits theme, which is just a high quality rip of Sonic & Knuckles from Virtual Sonic with the correct fade in, which I've uploaded here. Use this in the completed version of this SRB2 Mod (the one you're viewing the discussion page of) so it's more complete. (If you want the project file or .flac, i can give that)

Oh thanks! I actually have already made a restored version that also fits with the longer credits that will be in the next update (i really rushed the launch didnt i lol) but thanks anyway! Also I would like to hear your comments about "use slightly different piano".

That was for the title screen. If you have the source file for the one SSNTails made, then all you need to do is copy it to the version you've recorded.

Some other advice i have is:

Speed Shoes:
Change the volume slightly on the piano (up by a bit, not too much). If you want a better reference for the volume, use the Invincibility theme found on the SRB2 Christmas CD (search SRB2 Christmas OST and find the CD version, the speed shoes was the invincibility theme until 1.08)

I've not noticed much more, the rest is practically perfect, most of the "problems" (Like GFZ2 sounding a bit strange) is likely because of compression making it sound different. You deserve a billion mobiums!

Edit: I forgot to clarify that I meant copy the piano from SSN's version. Also, the drums from 0 - 3 seconds in SSN's are the correct ones, but the rest from your YouTube one are correct.

Final Edit: I've made a demo, but I will say you should experiment with the drums after 3 seconds, since they sound slightly off in sound?

New Discovery!

SSNTails has a DeMix of Arid Canyon Zone on his YouTube channel, and it includes higher quality versions of the original guitar. Also, it is a great mix, you should listen to it, but you'll also notice the guitar too, in case you don't believe me (it is unbelievable that such thing as a high quality version being public). Now, I wasn't able to get the stuff ripped from it since Phase Inversion didn't work at all, despite the audio aligning, it's because of the volume difference. BUT, if SSNTails or someone you can communicate with is the one who actually produced the final song (in other words, they have the source files to make the final product), you could get an actual higher quality file for ACZ1's guitar and ACZ2's harmonica.

This still leaves ACZ2, ERZ2, ERZ3 (Metal Sonic Race and Fight is in ERZ3 in 2.1), and any others I've missed, to be done, but any progress is good progress in this case.
(Also, I'm not gonna put the link here, since almost all links that don't use srb2.org in it are flagged and must be approved, but you'll find it by just looking in his channel or searching "arid canyon demix")

I restored Spring Hill Zone.

You know, that NiGHTS stage with a Paternal Horn remix originating in Final Demo 1.01?

Well, I restored it.

How? The original track was made completely with audio clips from most versions of Paternal Horn, so I used the exact same parts and pieced them together to "restore" it.

The .flac won't upload, so I could email it or provide it elsewhere for you to download.

Along with that, I give you permission to use this in this SRB2 Mod (The one we're discussing) and you can upload it to YouTube. The only thing i ask is that you credit me for the restoration. On YouTube, use @Two-Tailed_Cat , and on this mod's credits, the same one as YouTube (since they're identical).

Edit: For the song you'd replace, replace APZ1, since that one uses regular Paternal Horn and Spring Hill Zone's MIDI already. Also, If wanted, I can make a mod that would be a remaster of Spring Hill (mainly the stage, but will include the restored music) that also includes the .flac, since 2.1 and above support FLAC libraries. Listen to Spring Hill in any version on or between Final Demo and 2.1, the difference is quite noticeable.
