SRB2 2.0 / 2.1 Lossless / Restored OST

I'm leaving a note just to contribute, this addon is excellent

Restoring the musics from old ost that are compressed, some with quality loss because of compress, and yeah, they now sound even more awesome, I'd love to see this compatible with srb2 the pas, MRCE and any other mod that uses the old ost

This addon... is really impressive.
It's a complete restoration of the original SRB2 OST and sounds EXACTLY like the original, except WAY higher quality. You can even hear things you've never heard or noticed in the original!

The fact that Goldyblox was able to get production MIDIs and patches from current and retired Sonic Team Jr. staff is also incredible.

Not every song is restored yet, but restoring the soundtrack is not easy, so give them time, the ones that aren't are ACZ1, ACZ2, ERZ1, BCZ1, BCZ2, and the credits (but it actually is just "Sonic & Knuckles" from the Virtual Sonic album, so it's not in need for restoration.)

Other than that, the only issues are really small, mod support depends, The 2.0 conversion pack actually doesn't work with this mod due to that mod using the original map-based names (example: O_MAP01M) while this mod uses the modern names (example: O_GFZ1)
That's not really an issue though, if you want, you could change the file names of this mod's music, though make a copy first and don"t release the modification. You can use the same modification in 2.1, but you'll have to convert the title screen to OGG Vorbis for 2.0 (since 2.1 supports FLAC, but 2.0 doesn't)

In the end, this addon is Outstanding!!!

aaaah The Pre-2.2 OST, It Has Grown On Me ALOT Since i First Heard it, So Great to See It Back In a Non-Compressed Form! even tho new 2.2 ost is 100x better But Heard It Like... a MILLION Times Since Then So This Is Quite The Breath Of Fresh Air! Even Tho The Restorations Are Not 100% Accurate, Me And Potentially Many Others Wont Mind, And The Mod Compatibility Is Flawless I Tried It With The Following Mods (as of the day im writing this review) :

SRB2 2.0 Conversion
The Mystic Realm v5.2 (Classic Edition)
The Mystic Realm : Community Edition (v0.6.2)

And It Just Worked!
Like MAGIC!!!!!!!!

Worked Flawlessly, It Worked Exactly How I Wanted! So Now I Can Experience Classic Edition With The Old Music Restored In Higher Quality! And The Mystic Realm : Community Edition With The New Ost, And Speaking Of MRCE

It Worked Like A Charm! But The Act 2 Themes We're Unchanged So We're The Special Stages Wich Was Expected But Eh...
But MAYBE, You Could Send A Submision To Get The Legacy OST In MRCE As A Setting For The Next Major Update!
