I am kinda feeling like going through some SRB2 based nostalgia at the moment, and I recall this one mod that for the life of me I can't remember the name of...
So it was a new campaign mod, came out sometime around 2020 (maybe before?), with a story similar to forces (that I recall being dark, I think it was about Sonic being missing), I THINK you had customization options, I remember the presentation being real impressive for SRB2 modding standards at that time.
It had a grapple hook mechanic similar to Sonic Boom, the bosses were real tough and there were some cutscenes and like a hub world (which I remember having Knuckles chilling in it).
I remember one of the levels being rocky mountain themed, and the hub world gave a similar vibe from the Resistance Base from Forces.
And I THINK there was some sort of bad ending or whatever where you are in a hallway and run to a Sonic and something bad happens, could be mistaking this for another mod though
The big thing I remember about it is the mod being taken down cause I recall people having issues with its design and especially difficulty, and I got a new computer so any previous downloads I could have gotten ain't stuff I have access to.
I ain't asking for any download links or anything, pretty sure that would go against the creators wishes, but I'd like to at least know the name of the mod by anyone who remembers so I can look up a video or something of a playthrough. (and sorry for all the "Thinks" and "recalls" in this, its been like 5 years since I played this mod lol)
