Out of all the statements that you chose to use an example of him coming across as angry, i think you chose the wrong one. He didn't seem angry at all there.
i dunno, imo it's hard to imagine X Sonic of all the ones to have such heavy weight considering he's done some pretty insane feats in the anime, even in the first episode you can see him fly off the unfinished road when using his max speed, nearly flying across a whole neighborhood! (i always found that scene so iconic and beautiful in the anime, i love it)
maybe it'll be the opposite? maybe he'll be a little lighter, or maybe some moves will change his weight whilst using it or when it's over?
Not every Sonic fan is like that. Use of periods isn't supposed to make statements aggressive.

Y'know, jump height hasn't really been considered into question before, but considering mods like SMS which has a shorter jump height and Ryder who has a faster fall, I wouldn't be sure.

I saw the dark sonic sprite, I just wasn't sure if it was a concept or maybe just a fun little mock up.
