There's a priority situation. My little trick of automatically adjusting Samus' aim when players use the inaccurate "cross" crosshair is desyncing players in netgames.

Expect a 1.3a hotpatch coming in ASAP. If anyone found other issues, report it before then and I'll work it in.
In the meantime, avoid using the "cross" crosshair in netgames.

Anyone have an Idea why any of theses mods would cause Samus to crash?
It's not just 1 mod, it's the culmination of all them.

Currently, most crashes come from COM_BufInsertText calls whenever there's game lag, and music changes called from Lua specifically also crashes the game at random. Alot of those mods use those functions, so the more you stack, the more likely you're in for crashes. I hope it's fixed in SRB2 2.11 now that the cause is obvious.

Samus' occasional save menu crashes come from the COM_BufInsertText calls, which are needed for save files to sync online.

Yeah,i noticed it now,but before this update,it seemed to work excellent on the Android version,and as for PC(in this case my PC),it was same as Android.
Perhaps the android build uses 2.2.9 as a base, or simply has superior backwards compatibility for whatever reason?

Well uh... I found another desynch issue unrelated from the crosshair issue, dedicated servers are broken. Game resynchs every 5-8 seconds when moving or shooting even on an empty server running around by myself, I don't know what the cause is, but someone suggested it being related to some kind of issue relating to the default settings on dedicated servers? This wasn't a problem in 1.2, so I don't know what happened.

This is SPECIFICALLY an issue on dedicated servers, everything works fine when I host from within the game.

1.3a hotpatch, fixed crosshair desync and save menu crash

Here it is, the anticipated hotpatch to fix a crosshair desync. Comes with a few QoL features as apology for the re-download!

One of the prominent changes is a messy (but effective) way to squash that persistent lag-related save menu crash once and for all.

-Disabled the "cross" crosshair type's aim-adjust when in netgames to avoid desyncs. Though I really recommend using any other crosshair in general.
-Added a special optimized level you may enter before save...

I've encountered an issue where I try to play in a save file and i can't do anything but run and jump. I don't know what caused it and don't know how to fix it. No save works fine. I started playing a new save earlier today and encountered this problem, please help.
 
Is there any way to remove the hyper beam once you unlock it on a save file? I'm trying to get the <5% achievement, but the hyper beam keeps getting given to me every time i do a "true restart". Even when i remove it from the ship's equipment menu, its instantly given back to me.
 
Aww well that sucks it was taken down for that, woulda thought the super clear warning woulda been enough
If I remember correctly, the "super clear warning" was added after the mod was taken down. Before that, players would run into it with no warning whatsoever, and after a whole debate of "Should it be removed or not" it was decided that it'd be kept, but there'd be an option to turn it off via console command.
 
I couldn't play much of it just because of the camera being inverted (e.g: i swipe left and it goes right). Is there an option to change this?

i dont know what i did, but somehow my download of this mod is irreversibly broken.
the moment i load into a level, the gunship never spawns, the only ability I can do is a single jump, samus can't die from enemies (she does, but it lets you live still as all enemies and obstacles are frozen), the hud is broken, the framerate dips, and nothing i do fixes it. not even deleting and reinstalling the mod works.


edit: I see some people tried on "No Save Mode", and that it's encouraged outright... my bad. I got a dumb habit of always loading custom save data, and I never thought to just... not.

side note: one thing I'd like to see added is that monitors no longer drop abilities after you already collected them (barring beam types, but only so you can get their combos.) As it stands, there's too many instances where I keep getting duplicate abilities after already maxxing out my kit.
Also of note: full honesty, I don't like the music choice for Egg Rock Zone 2. After almost every other track was atmospheric in tone, the sudden shift to the metal cover of Brinstar gives me whiplash. I think what could have worked in its stead is either another track from Fusion or that one track in Zero Mission after you first enter the Space Pirates' ship.

No, that whiplash did not occur for CEZ2 using Kraid. I love Kraid's music.

edit 2: sorry, another thing: please add a toggle to remove the sprite of Samus' face reflection. Every time it appeared, it freaked me out a little and TBH, I don't really like the effect anyways. Didn't help that the HUD is, for some reason, really friggin' skewed. The HP is slightly off from being center, Time is only the word "time" and the SRB2 time graphics are still there, and the only time I can see the score is if it's like 10,000 or more, as the rest past the 10,000 digit is obscured off the screen. The beam select and stuff is fine, though I wish that at least the beam selector could be moved to the center with the options listed left to right. As it stands, not only is it unintuitive with the Next Weapon/Prev Weapon keys, no matter what configuation, but also I have to always look over to confirm what I picked which distracts me from the actual screen.

Oh and also, dear god why is Aerial Garden Zone so fucking laggy

Please someone help me with my problem whenever I choose samus to play when I enter the save screen the game crashes every time someone help me please
 
Now it's just fucking crashing no matter what i do. I bet that even if all I load is just Samus and the music, it'll still crash the moment it attempts to load the menu. It's honestly pissing me off.

Wasn't planning on enjoying SRB2 tonight, anyway. I'm just gonna go replay Fusion.
 
what's odd is that I don't think I ever crashed while playing Samus on the 2.2.10 android build of SRB2.
On my end it either crashes once in a while or, like today, just refuses to let you play. Either it's really unstable or it doesn't like having any other mods enabled.
