So if Super SA-Sonic is immune to death pits, what happens if he gets crushed? Does it just put him in a spinning state like with HMS?
Death. Unless you barely get clipped, then you get the same behaviour as with base Sonic. One can argue "how invincible is Super Sonic truly?", so he won't ignore insta-kills like crushers (Also to prevent softlocks), but he's definitely flying right here in front of us.

Say Metal,I know it's too early to say,but after Adventure Sonic's done,what will you do next?

Really nice, interesting choice to have it work just like SA2 with free flying and I'll call it the Instant Attack for simplicity sake like in the boss fight.
Interesting how you start as SA2 Super, does this mean of have mode change? is it like console command preference? Or is button press to switch on demand?

Now, SA-Sonic has been carefully balanced to let anyone feel powerful picking him up, without letting Sonic skip everything(Like Tails) or vastly outspeed the vanilla cast in the majority of cases.(Pretending Amy and Fang don't exist...)

SUPER Sonic, though? That balancing act goes out the window. I expect him to be among the top 5 powerful transformations on the MB. We didn't aim to make him deliberately as OP as possible, but when SA2's freeflight and SA1's speed combine, you get OP.



Notice how the C3 icon never went away after transforming? Whenever it's on-screen, press the transform button to manually swap between SA1 and SA2-style Super Sonic gameplay. Ah, so that's where the yellow aura went after transforming!

Sometimes Metal's sprites are so awe-inspiring you forget to watch your ring count. In SA2, a fiery atmosphere-entry aura envelops Sonic when the earth's about to be lost. While there's no such event here, your auras still change color if you're on your last rings!

Manually switching is optional. Landing on the ground swaps you to SA1's gameplay style, while death pits have Sonic automatically take flight. Just don't run out of rings at the wrong time!
