Hi, I used to mod SRB2. I had 3 SRB2 projects: a port of SRB2 Heroes (that I gave to my coder but idk how is the team and the project going), Cutedy the Bear in SRB2 and CutedyHangouts (Cutedy's House and Peach's Castle). However, all of them EXCEPT SRB2 Heroes got cancelled. Sometimes, I used to show off progress of them in this thread. I'll start with SRB2 Heroes first.
Me, ffoxD, Inazuma and BlueBlur* are working on a port (now, not only a port but a REVAMP) of SRB2 Heroes!
This port will enhance the visuals. For example: giving colormap to water, reducing the brightness of some of the sectors (like in Mystic Castle), adding slopes, etc. Level design will be improved (specifically, the spikeballs being replaced). Yes, there are still teams, which are being ported by ffoxD! Some of the characters' sprites will be updated to match their updated counterparts, like Shadow and Espio. Others that don't have a 2.2 counterpart that doesn't have updated sprites will look like as they did in the original mod, until someone makes updated sprites for them. Stages will be extended and a custom boss will be in + actual formations and more Heroes mechanics!

You know Cutedy Cutefazbear? That one Sonic-like bear with a black top hat, gloves, blue eyes and Sonic shoes? The one from Five Nights at Cutedy's or Cutedy's Adventure? Or from those Scratch projects? No? Of course you don't! He wasn't really known. Well, this OC was being developed for SRB2 for the 3rd time! However, his design now wasn't the FNAF-Sonic one, it was a different one that is outdated now. See this post for more information about the add-on.
2021/12/11 EDIT: The SRB2 Cutedy addon is now cancelled, due to IRL stuff (2023 EDIT: actually I just got pissed at my mom and I decided to cancel it and drop Cutedy, well I didn't drop it for long. Thank god I'm more mature than my 2021 self, holy shit. THANK GOD!).

Cutedy's House... well, it's a hangout map, as I've said above. It contained a garden and I wanted to make the map like so that there would have been some stuff to do there. Like, a disco room, a stage, an inside pool, arcade cabinets that "can teleport you into games", etc. It was on hold, due to SRB2 Heroes, but I lost interest and motivation in it, like most of my mods that I was working on. Why must I be like this???

(for the team showcasing gifs, note that they are in a seperate SRB2 Heroes file, as they aren't merged with the modified maps yet. Well, at least, it wasn't at the time... Probably not like that now? I don't know)

So uh Modern Amy is in 2.2 so you can use her for team rose however I suggest you go ask the creator

Also can I suggest Keeping the Teams Lua Wad if we want for example Team Sonic or Dark running through levels like egg rock station? And also can you include a file so we can make our own teams like for example, again, the SSN trio?

Huh I thought you would use her modern counter part since that is her appearance in Heroes, also any progress?
I didn't work on this port since days.... Currently, I didn't really have interest and motivation in it. However, this doesn't mean I'm going to cancel it. I will work on it, someday, probably..... Or now. :knuxsmug:
 
And then another progress report!
- Colormapped a bit more of Seaside Palace's water.
- The other maps besides Sea Gate are now partially ported! (thank you, LJ's map porting script) The custom objects are now in (Seaside Palace already had them, however and the first two speed pads have been ported already) and there have been a few stuff ported, like speed pads!
 
Team Dark is now in! However, it will be a bit different.
- As you can see, Shadow now uses his 2.2 sprites! However, his moveset will be exactly the same as the 2.2 mod, due to the creator not wanting the mod to be modified. This means no Rocket Accel, no thok and 2 Chaos Snaps!
That's all. Oh yeah, while I'm here, I've started to enhance the visuals of Grand Metropolis, aswell. I've also put a Speed Pad at the very beginning, though it's WIP, currently.

I really hope we can suggest or make custom teams for this wad, because I really want to get a team consisting of N64 Mario, Pac-Man, and TailsRe, or Modern Sonic.

Hi, time to make.. another progress update.
The goals of the port has been expanded this October. The dev team is a bit bigger (with 2 more members), and there has been plans for giving enemies a HP... but only if the OTHER mechanics get in from Heroes. There are also plans for porting the HUD from Heroes to SRB2, extending the stages, etc. The textures may ALSO get updated, too, which would make the stages prettier.
This time, this post is not just about SRB2 Heroes... Hmmmmmmmm...........

Yup, I'm putting my OC in SRB2! Finally, after those years...
Okay, lemme explain. This bear was already my OC since 2015, and he was very different. Around 2016, I wanted to put him in SRB2, so I was working on a WAD for it. I got some sprites done, and they were completely different. This WAD was never finished, nor released.
And then, there came 2019. I redesigned my OC, and I've tried putting him in SRB2 again. Only the CSS, the life icon and the stand sprites were finished.
And then, 2021. Attempted to sprite him, and then I've just scrapped the "pixel art" idea, as it was too hard for me, and I went with drawing him instead. I also got a moveset planned for him, here is it:
Triple Jump: It works like Dummie's Triple Jump...
Drift: It functions similarly to Kart's, but it's a bit more... controllable. Cutedy also hops after releasing a Mini Boost, and he can also spam that for a lot of speed!
Some downwards kick move: Unnamed, but if you use this ability, you go downwards, instantly! The longer, the faster. If you attack a badnik with this move, you can use this move again! Mmmmm, badnik bounces.... Think of this like something like Sonic's D-air from SSF2.
Walljump: It works similarly to Jana's, but it's a bit different. You do have a wallslide, but.. it works like in games like SM64DS... BUT, it can also preserve your speed! When walljumping, there would be a tiny window (0.50 seconds or smth). When walljumping during this, you still keep your speed! If you gained some speed somehow and you walljump after the window ended, well, there goes all the speed you've gained. Your speed is now the normal one.
Other stuff planned is run/walk dust and red spark trails, which look similarly to the red sparks from SRB2Kart, which would appear behind Cutedy, when his speed is faster than usual (ex. Speed Sneakers).
However, the moveset may change a bit at anytime... Until then, here's a screenshot of him.

Cool! You should make the themes from sonic heroes the super theme for their respective teams like We Can for Team Sonic
 
I also got a coder (BuggieTheBug) for this mod, and the Triple Jump is already in!
