I want to know why tails can't be super
Why does super tails not exist in SRB2?

Well I guess I'll add to the conversation here with the reason tails doesn't really have a super form yet. After all I did do this kind of thing before.
The thing is, they would have to double the amount of tails states to do that, heres why;
Super forms give players FF_FULLBRIGHT, but since his tails are a seperate object, what you get is the tails having lighting attached to them, despite them supposed to be a glowing object, and by the way, you can't really just change the frame data on the fly either, player thinks lag 1 tick behind the sprite update, making it look even worse.

Mystic didn't want any characters besides Sonic to have super forms in the first place because he felt that super forms make every character play exactly the same. He was OK with Super Metal Sonic because he felt that Sonic and Metal Sonic's gameplay styles were already very similar. Super Knuckles was added in the very first patch after Mystic was removed from the game's dev team.
I think Mystic's opinion on super forms is total bogus, and it would be far better if every character could go super, each with a unique ability or two to spice things up. It just feels like something that there is no reason not to be a thing—it's one of my biggest hopes for the game's next major update.
