X Sonic v1.1c

Sonic x was my childhood and seeing him as a playable character in srb2 is pretty cool,i love the ring burst hard to master at first but if you get the hang of it its satisfying to use and can complete a level faster,the moved are Great sprites are awesome overall 10/10

Probably the best character mod to be released for a very long time, but i have 2 gripes for this mod that are keeping it from being a true 10/10:

1.The underwater physics.
I honestly think they are a really good idea, but the biggest problem they have is if you're just looking for a good experience instead of beating something that feels like a kaizo hack in an underwater level, then you're pretty much screwed since there is no way to disable them in the menu, which, if i'm gonna be honest, would probably frustrate most players past the first few seconds of recognizing the reference since not everyone knows the location of every bubble shield in every level. A good way to fix that would be through making the underwater physics toggable, so that casual players would be able to enjoy water levels without fearing water like they have rabies, and more skilled players would still have the incentive to find alternate routes.

2.Parkour.
Trying to do precise jumps with X Sonic is almost impossible when he's either going lightspeed or casually walking, and because of the jump delay he has which couls mess you up depending on how tight the platforming you're doing is. I think X Sonic should still stay as the 0-100 character he is, but adding a way to go slightly faster while on foot without having to use the zip-dash would be heavily appreciated. But i can't say anything positive about the jump. The biggest problems i have with it are the annoying delay that could be toggable and the fact that once you jump and press any direction for even the smallest amount of time, you're still gonna get that slight propulsion mid-air that could completely mess you up in a small platform scenario, so either the jump could be more similiar to the one you have with vanilla characters, or toggable just incase someone wants to play with it.

Overall, the mod is pretty good, the abilities, altough simple, are very versatile and give near infinite potential to the character, and in the right stages, X Sonic could play absolutely perfect. Also, his transformations are awesome, with the fast-paced near hack n' slash combat that dark sonic has, or the super sonic tenkaichi that i can't experience because i have no friends but that's still one of the best parts of the mod, i honestly consider this mod to be better than 90% of the other stuff that gets uploaded here. Btw X Sonic can't jump while zip-dashing underwater with the bubble shield and i don't think that's supposed to happen.

The mod is good because of the forms and dark sonic's combos but whenever I quit the game my dark emeralds don't save

This mod is amazing, I've already made a video on it! But can I ask for a favor to save the Dark Emeralds' progress? It's such a grind for something so cool, but they disappear if you need to leave. Please add some Fake Emeralds save features. Thanks for your time and/or consideration

This a gread mod, I just need to know how to change colors, my Sonic is stuck in a pitch black furr color

Best mod for speed runners. There is one sad thing, if your game crashed then all your fake emeralds will be lost (that so sad that I get crash)

nobody is talking about SST that much so I'm doing it lol
SST is probably the best battle gamemode that got modded, shoot it's action-packed and you can still manage to win even if you just spam buttons. Although i kinda wish that SST becomes it's own gamemode that people can add their own characters into rather than only having X sonic have all the spectacle cause hey you guys did quite a miracle pulling this off along with making X sonic himself. It would be pretty sad if SST just get left in the dust as people only really see the X sonic part of this mod, like shoot giving shadow support will go wonders to boosting SST as it's own gamemode and possibly using SST for super sonic boss fights like sonic frontiers.

All in all this is such a great mod, that crashes low end pcs and laptops like its a regular tuesday but I hope that you guys expand more on SST in the future.

This is the mod I've been waiting for! Now, all I need is a pack of other characters that go with XSonic because I wish there'll be more of X content, for example, Shadow, Knuckles, Tails, and Amy. That's just my opinion though. Blue Blur, thanks for this mod, it's a win on my list. 4 stars, and God bless!

I don't know where I can leave this comment but, I have a bug, is that when I jump with Sonic X, to a dock, Sonic X, tends to always go to the one on the right, oh when a zipline grabs me he also ends up being caught by the one on the right, why does this happen? And I hope they fix it even so 5 stars, I love

I SOLVED THE PROBLEM, THIS IS THE BEST SRB2 MOD EVER!!!

A'ight, I'm gonna make use of the update to... Well... Update my review, cuz' after getting an actual hang of him, I quite like it, zipdash it's still weird to control, but after actually learning how to play with him, everything just feels so nice.
Tbh, the reason I originally gave it 3 stars is cuz' I was mostly confused, now that I get it I'd give it just 4 stars, cuz' it's really fun, but the transformations and their mechanics are the reason why I'll actually give it the perfect 5 stars, it's just that amazing, that fun, it'll never not be fun to catch an enemy with the good ol' wombo combo and then crush it into the ground and don't get me started on the Tenkaichi mode, it's the craziest thing I've ever seen on a mod, the only way to make it crazier is if other modders try to make their characters compatible with the SST mode, but let's not get over our selves with that.
My biggest issue right now it's some funny bugs I've found, mostly related to other mods so it's probably not something you can fix, but if you wanna see Sonic hit something so hard that instead of breaking it, he hits it's texture away, load modded bosses or enemys and ram them with the zipdash, sometimes Sonic hits so hard he breaks his own sprites instead lol

Stylistically, it's perfect. I have but 2 gripes with the mod as a whole, which are the fact that you can't transform or de-transform mid-air which would be sicc. The other thing is just that there should be a cheat option to unlock dark sonic, just because i've already played the base game a hundred times with a hundred other mods, I don't wanna go on a treasure hunt again. Also an option to skip dark sonic phase and go straight to dss would be good. Other than that, pvp with this mod and the X pack arena levels is legit the best thing to ever happen to this game, i'm going to be the best at it and you will not stop me. Hopefully more updates will come that add even more special moves or characters to mix it up even more. Perhaps a standalone off-shoot mod that does everything this mod does for pvp, where you could give any other character a basic framework to go toe-to-toe with X sonic etc.
