HERE COMES DAREDEVIL
Voltage Viper Challenge is a original custom track that was designed to be challenging with how you need to have certain skills learned to drive, but fair enough in that you won't be facing walls of spikes and death pits.
Certain sections were inspired by my journey through trying to platinum Chemical Facility as a Class I character, so if you are using one, you better know how to brakedrift [yes, it ain't a coincidence that I used some CF textures here]. But there's also two or three that are specifically built for you to take advantage of the Triangle Dash.
...You know, build a MT from drifting, then while you go mid-air with the drift still held, let go of it and you'll release it, giving you a downwards boost WITHOUT fastfalling or voltage. And speaking of voltage...better make good use of those for building sparks faster too.
Where did you get the name and logo?
I don't remember the name specifics, but I probably though something with Voltage [both the game's mechanic and High Voltage Ring, the map editor] and thinking about Fighting Vipers [the viper thing in the logo is actually taken from FV1's logo]- at one point thinking about using some music from it for the track. That aside, ol' Photoshop is what I use for image editing.
The Challenge moniker is a cheeky nod to the fact that I cooked this with a solid grasp of the game's mechanics and at least four days of playtime...so it might be quite the challenge for beginners.
Will this be part of a full cup in a future version?
Yes- whenever I get to make a proper mappack, this will be part of one of the cups it should have. Maybe a starter track to give racers a chance to breathe with the AI...or maybe as a final track to put to test everything you've truly learned. But for now, I decided to not do the same thing I did with Grit Mountain and leave it be as a track you have to select in Lost and Found in the Cup Selection menu...but that doesn't stop it from appearing online, so don't worry if you want to load this in multiplayer.
What about the visuals?
I tend to be more of a layout designer than a visual designer, maybe later I might get a hand to give it some visual tweaks, but for now apologies if it might seem a bit simple
But at least I know that gameplay-wise is a different story [wow thanks achii ]

Timo's ghost is Bronze, Kyon's is Silver [and the red Vectorman ghost is me but trying to break that time lol], Magi's is Gold, my blue Vectorman time is the Author medal...
And anything nearing the trio of WRD/MobyKong, Calibur and S e b b y...I like to call the "Death Squad". The moment you see or try to compete them, you might get why.
Might make a custom leaderboard for VVC times in my website at one point, but for now, I think that Sebby's time is the fastest time on the table at the moment to break, so if you're aiming for a World Record fight...god luck.
