A young boy from a world beset by tragedy, yet doing its best to march on to a better future. Jacka is a cheerful, imaginative little rabbit who immerses himself in the persona of a beetle-themed superhero named Jackalope, inspired by the heroes of his favorite shows. He does his best to embody the virtues and altruism of a real hero... even if the heroism he performs is just mundane volunteer work for the people of his hometown. Nevertheless, everyone appreciates him as the eccentric, but kindhearted kid who goes out of his way to assist them in any way he can, all without asking for any reward in return.
Now, you might think the beetle horn "growing" out of Jacka's head is part of the costume, right? Nope. That horn is real... and surprisingly strong too. In truth, Jacka harbors deep feelings of insecurity over the horn he was mysteriously born with, so with the help and encouragement of a dear friend, Jacka built his "Jackalope" persona around his physical quirk to cope with them. He likes to believe his horn is the mark of a chosen hero, rather than yet another rampaging monster of the week.

For my first non TF2-related upload, and for the sake of a bunny racer to go with this year's Easter, I want to introduce this cute little sh*thead (he's a single-celled organism).
Jacka is the main character of an obscure manga called Tsunousagi (or The Jackalope), written and illustrated by Sho Shibamoto, whom you might know as the author of the relatively less obscure webcomic Pandemonium Wizard Village. (And if you're a hardcore fan of the Yo-Kai Watch series, you might also recognize Sho as the author of the Japan-exclusive manga Komasan 〜A Time for Fireworks and Miracles〜).
I commissioned Setdown to turn this character into a Ring Racer for three reasons. (1) I fell in love with Sho's art style for anthropomorphic critters since I first read Pandemonium (it was in fact the first manga I've read from him); (2) my autism compelled me to shamelessly shill the guy somehow; and (3) Tsunousagi is my personal favorite for how dang cute it is.
But mostly, I just wanted to pay a little tribute to Sho and his works.
Soon I might turn this addon into a commissioned character pack featuring more of Sho Shibamoto's critters. Key word being might. In the meantime, enjoy playing as the adorable beetle bnuuy!
