Welcome to SHORTS SMASH PACK, a character pack with currently 7 characters, 3 followers, and... a map!? unbelievable!
THE CHARACTERS GUYS
BILBY - An original character. A failed SEGA Saturn platformer mascot who only appeared on a demo disc, as their game was never finished due to "developer ate too much birdseed and died" (official shutdown notice)
VOICE SOURCE: Various sound effects from classic cartoons.
NOISEY - From Pizza Tower. One of The Noise's many TV crew members. They also serve as an enemy in his bossfight, and guides The Noise to the exit in his campaign.
VOICE SOURCE: The Noise's voice clips, but pitched up.
NEWT - From the work in progress rougelite Never Ending Witches Tower (or NEWT for short, get it?), created by SonyPlaytation. (Credit to her for polishing up the sprites!) Their eye was stolen by a nefarious witch, and is thus climbing her huge tower with an arsenal of guns to get revenge. (also play the demo lmao)
VOICE SOURCE: Duke Nukem - Duke Nukem 3D (Parental Advisory Content n stuff!)
MAMETCHI - From Tamagotchi. Very smart, with an IQ of 250 or so! He likes creating inventions, although they don't always work. He's also bad at drawing and singing.
VOICE SOURCE: Tamagotchi: Party On!
V2 UPDATE CHARACTER GUYS
SHADOW BILBY - Bilby's own Metal Sonic! Except not metal. Obsessed with being hip and cool. Unlike Bilby, he didn't even appear on a demo disc, as he was meant to be the secret final boss.
VOICE SOURCE: Raptor - Lethal League
WOOPER - The Water Fish Pokemon! A weird axolotl-like thing with a big dopey smile. How does it drive the kart? I dunno. The Whopper Mystery unfolds...
VOICE SOURCE: Wooper - Pokemon Channel
WADDLE DOO - What the dink!? It's him! The distant relative of the Waddle Dee with one, giant eye, useful for crying! No beam attacks here though. Sad!
VOICE SOURCE: In-Game Voice - Kirby's Avalanche
THE FOLLOWER GUYS
MR. RETRO - The embodiment of all that is old-school, but not the Gamecube and PS2. Those are still pretty new, right?
SOUND SOURCE: Mr. Retro Wishes You a Happy Birthday
WINDOWS 7 - The version of Microsoft Windows released in 2009, or at least the logo of it. It was lauded for its improved performance, better UI, and actual usability compared to Windows Vista!
SOUND SOURCE: Windows 7 Bootup Sound
LIL' DINK - What, you thought ONE dinky dude was enough? Think again!
SOUND SOURCE: The first few notes of That Dinky Ass Song From Return To Dream Land
THE MAP
Along with those characters and followers, Shorts' Smash Pack ALSO contains a battle map! Sludgeslime Factory is a factory that produces slime. Crazy, right? Also, it's suspiciously shaped like Big Donut from Mario Kart 64... Hmm...
(also i havent tested it much in battle mode at all, but i know it does work!)
