If you’re Tails and you run off a ledge, you will continue flying for about 8 seconds before you get tired. The same time it takes for Tails to get tired from flight.
If you are Super Sonic you will continue to float in your run animation when you run off a ledge.
Metal Sonic doesn’t even need to be super. He just has to be running or dashing.
Keep in mind if you lose your speed you will stop floating!
