This is a recreation of the MKDS track Figure 8 Circuit. It's a race map that's 7 laps, and has a unique shortcut I added to the track to help it stand out from the version on the DS.

I'm glad you found a way to spice up the first course from Mario Kart DS.
The lack of scenery I can excuse since this is meant to be a simple course, and the same goes for the shortcut, though awkward as it is.

However, having two sets of speed-locked boosters is a little overkill, especially if you're trying to catch up on the last lap via the shortcut. Regular boosters would work fine in both places and changing the off-road on the shortcut to some pavement would be a nice touch.

If this was your first course, I'd say you did a pretty good job; I look forward to seeing what else you make.

A bit wack to have a shortcut gated by a tripwire that has enough offroad to slow down racers a Gear 2, but a fine first map to start this modding train off.

Only real criticism is that the scenery could use a little more detail (as well as filling in the grass underneath the bridge). It's definitely Figure 8 Circuit though - I could see this being a madhouse with the inevitable speed mods!
