Crash Team Racing arrives at Dr. Robotnik's Ring Racers!
A pack containing three new cup, the Wumpa Cup, the Nitro Cup and the Crystal Cup, including 12 Race Tracks and 6 Battle Maps from the classic Naughty Dog game Crash Team Racing, and plenty of secrets to be found! Each Track and Battle Map comes with two songs, the original one and the remixes from Nitro-Fueled, chosen at random at the start of the track! Also with custom starting race song!

There are two version of the mod, one is the complete experience that you just load in the game and have everything, while the other is for Online Play which is divided in two part. Is recommended to use the Online Play version when playing Online, both version are the same but the Online Play version is just so the servers can download the mod.

Online Play version can be used to play normally as well, Part 1 have Cups Wumpa and Nitro and Part 2 have Crystal Cup. Is recommended to load Part 1 first since this can mess up the track orders, it doesn't break anything but Part 1 then Part 2 is the intended way

All the tracks are base on their original incarnations with some added decoration and changes from Nitro-Fueled.

The first track of Crash Team Racing is here! The simple beach fill with ships from the evil Dr. Cortex of Crash Cove! Made to 4 laps so it can be a bit longer!

Race in the ruins of Tiger Temple! A short and fun track with many bumpy roads to cross! Made to 4 Laps!

One of the best tracks in the game! The winter tundra of Blizzard Bluff comes with all it's shortcuts intact! Watch out for the rolling Eggman ball or you'll regret it!

The exotic and magical park of Coco! Coco Park is one of the shortest tracks in Crash Team Racing, complete with it's hills, flowers, tunnel and spectators! With 5 laps so it won't end in 5 seconds!

The crazy caves of Mystery Caves is here! With crazy turns and changing "Turtles" that change from a spring panel to a trick ramp! Don't let those turtle trick you!

The great Pyramid of Papu Papu is here! Papu's Pyramid comes with it's complex turns and lots of shorcuts! A track suspended in the air for the most part!

The great Castle of Cortex is here! Cortex Castle comes with it's 90 degree turns around the castle and also a new shortcut for this game! One of the most fun tracks in Crash Team Racing!

One of the longest tracks in all of Crash Team Racing, Tiny Arena is here with it's bumps everywhere and mud! Try to go as fast as you can with all the rings everywhere!

The wild and unforgiving Dingo Canyon is here! With it split path in the middle and rough road on the water! There's also a little nod to a certain level from another game... Maybe is more than a simple nod thought...

Race on this unforgiving old mines in Dragon Mines! One of the hardest tracks on the original game! But don't worry, the spiral won't be as bad this time!

Battle in the snow in the frozen tundra of The Nort Bowl! There's slopes everywhere in here! Having two layers and a simple iglu in the middle, probably the home of Penta Penguin.

Every Racing Track has a hidden box that's very familiar for those who played Nitro-Fueled... Is just a need nod to it! Think you can find them?

There's also secret maps! Think you can find them all? I'm gonna give hints for those!

-Find a secret switch somewhere in Crash Cove, activate it and then go to the famous ship in the shortcut while playing in Grand Prix!
-Find the secret exit somewhere in the audience in Mystery Caves during Grand Prix!
-Do a stroll around Crash Cove while playing alone in Free Play (Match Race without bots or players), maybe you'll find something new there!

-Find the secret switch on Roo's Tubes during Grand Prix, and be sure to have an item to throw! Bananas recommended, and then find the secret exit somewhere in the level!
-There's something familiar for those who played a certain game on the starting part of Dingo Canyon, maybe you could get there after finding a hidden switch...
-There seems to be another way to get to Artisans on the 3rd part of the Spyro Circuit, but where? Maybe you'll need a hidden item somewhere near there...
-Do you ever wonder what could there be on the rail tracks in Dragon Mines? Well maybe could be a good idea to check where those lead you.

Next up are the secret tracks for those who want to know what those are!

Is time to Rumble! From Toys for Bob's Crash Team Rumble; the most recent Crash Bandicoot game at this time; here comes one of two Spyro themed maps, Artisans Arena! Adapted as best as I could for karts, this fun and large Battle Map would be quite a challenge in Battle mode!

A completely new and original Battle Map! Made entirely by myself, inspire by Dragon Mines from CTR, Ancient Dragonmine is a fun Battle Map divided in two parts, the platform in the middle with enough places to hide a bit and the outside of it, where all the chaos can happen! Enjoy some Crash Bash music as well!

The first Area of Adventure Mode is here! Is just a little nod where you can get to the tracks from Wumpa Cup through here. I do plan on doing the whole Adventure map but is not a priority, so enjoy what's now!

Hope you all like my maps! This was so fun to made! There's only one cup remaining! And don't worry, Oxide Station will be there too! For now enjoy this three cups with plenty of secrets!

Solid recreations of a childhood favorite! That aside, some of the maps need more work - Spyro Circuit's teleport triggers are inconsistent and sometimes don't trigger at all, and the last jump on Cortex Castle needs either a raised ceiling or more road by the landing point so players can reliably E-Brake. Looking forward to seeing more!

Spyro Circuit is the one track that always gives me trouble, using teleports en this game is a pain. And in all my testing of Cortex Castle never experience problems with the jump, but I will look into it! Glad you enjoyed my work!

Really good track pack. I would rate 5 stars if it were not for some of the secret tracks manually the one you unlock on either Dyngo Canyon or Spyro Circut being almost impossible to find unless you know your Crash knowledge

this would be fire with sealed stars. The sealed star for wumpa cup would be "Avalanche" with those giant balls in the snow level (Forgot the name) and nitro cup would be fortress, with elements form cortex's castle

I did think of making Sealed Stars levels at some point, and maybe I do for the last cup, could be a fun idea but I do need to learn how to make those. Thanks for the suggestion!

Just got back from 1st Place finishing the two main cups (except the secret levels, I'm kinda having trouble trying to get to 'em). I just wanna say that this is a cool map pack you've got there! Did have some minor trouble with Cortex Castle (had to reset two times and I still got 2nd), but it is what it is.

Side Note: Also, how'd you manage to implement the secret unlockable maps feature? (I wanna try that out too!)

as a CTR speedrunner seing the CTR tracks in ringracers makes me happy and my fav cup what is the nitro one seems a good challenge for me to try with gear 3 in encore mode :thumbsup:

I really love this !! I like a lot of the tracks (especially Tiny Temple, i love the bump-y roads) and the secrets made me very excited they're great. Drivin's fun! And i like it a lot. being a full cup to play in Grand Prix is also great

if i were to give any suggestions should you choose to continue this "project" would be uhhh
i think those Little Grey/Yellow Wallsprings would be nice to have on tracks like Tiny Temple and Blizzard Bluff after ramps just to help you from bangin into the walls after a jump. those sound like they'd be nice to have
and maybe more rings on Crash Cove for ringboosts. that might just be a me bias though

These are *fairly* decent recreations of the CTR tracks, though some of the ramp usage can cause driving to be a lot rougher than it is normally, and this might be nitpicking but wouldn't it make more sense to have the Wumpa Cup have all the Beach Hub's tracks? Roo Tubes, Sewer Speedway, whatever the 4th one was, and as the Special Stage being the Roo Fight? (Assuming it's possible to replace the Special slot with a challenge race...) (with only Skull Rock as the singular Battle Course)

Tracks could be prettier as well but i don't think i'm one to judge at the moment.

You would think the cups in the game should be the zones in Adventure Mode, but they're completely different, not sure why but I'm doing what the original game did. I don't know if we can do "Boss Battles" like in the original game, probably yes but I don't know enough of scripts or lua to do such thing, but that's a great idea honestly! I'm glad you like my work and hope I can improve in every way!

with all issues resolved, this is a terrific map pack

While the maps are okay, they feel like an alpha version. Although the layouts seem fairly accurate on most of the maps, the textures are very bland, the structures are quite simplistic and look quite similar throughout. These maps would benefit from a bit of TLC, perhaps using more elements from the original maps or at least some more variety in the textures.

I also experienced some bugs when playing the maps – sometimes the CPUs would randomly reset themselves, I was randomly reset and taken behind the finish line when I drove close to a wall, the geometry seems slightly broken in certain areas as the character disappears (happened on some of the prison maps).

Overall it feels like a good start and I'm looking forward to seeing improvements.

I would admit one of my weaknesses at map making is decorating, I'm not good at it, but I'll do my best to keep improving! As for the textures, all of those are from the original CTR, but I didn't used all, I'll try to used more next time!

I'll do my best to improve as time goes on and I'm glad you like my work!

Very faithful recreations of the Maps in CTR. For some reason for me the original Crash Cove music ended up being the normal mix for Coco Park so you only got the Nitro Fueled version of Crash Cove for that level.

Hoping the rest of the CTR tracks come after this cause these came out great!
