You ever think just cause someone can make a meme character, they should?

I've seen a lot of meme mods for characters pop up more often than not. I've even played a few and they're ones I'd say is good for a few laughs but not one I'd go back to.

Then a question popped in my mind, "Just cause someone can make a meme character, should They?" I wish I could mod or have money but I really can't. And I'm starved for a non meme character mod that runs on 2.2.13 or even 2.2.14.

So the question is, should they?

I think people are entitled to make whatever they want, meme or otherwise. It'd be nice to have more non-meme characters, but they're not hurting anybody.

Pretty much. People are going to make what they want to make. Or to phrase that differently, they're going to spend their free time how they want to spend their free time. If they want to spend that time making dumb and goofy meme mods, they're entitled to do so. If they want to post any mod they have made here on the MB, it's subject to review by the moderation team and if it doesn't break any rules or guidelines it will get published properly. That's the only standard by which we should be letting ourselves decide what people "should" and "shouldn't" be posting here. Don't let yourself get caught up in the mindset that the community should start catering to your own personal desires and that anything that falls outside of your interests is a waste of time.

The creation of any mod counts as practice, so even if a mod doesn't look like something you personally would enjoy long term it's still doing more good than harm by providing those who worked on it with valuable experience. Even then though, if someone just wants to use that experience to make more meme mods in the future, that's up to them to decide.
