My XWE keeps on telling me that it failed to create key auto_wad/Defaulticon,then opens and tells me list index is out of bounds and i cant do anything.a little help,please?

Well there you go.

Right click > Run as Administrator
Alternatively,
Right Click > Properties > Compatibility tab > check off "Run this program as an administrator"

If you aren't on an administrative account (such as parents having made a separate limited account for you), that's bad. Vista has horrendous issues with many things that requires administrative access. Because the above method will not work on a limited account.
