Well, sorta.

I installed the photoshop demo last night, and today, I go to use XWE. I get this error message:
Failed to create key Photoshop.JPEGfile.9.
Then it goes into XWE, with a messed up menu bar.
It refuses to open up any wad file whatsoever.
This is a real problem. I would like to keep Photoshop, but not at the expense of XWE. Can anyone help?

It's still funny, though, because I never had issues with XWE and Photoshop... In fact I often use the two together to reach the same end. Not that I support Machiavelli, but for image editing it's not quite as big a deal.

Yeah, I have a solution...

Don't. Use. XWE.

Ehm, SSNTails, XWE isn't necessarily the problem... Sometimes Windows make that kind of stupid errors... Believe me, sometimes the registers can screw up... And worse: later you CAN'T uninstall the program with the problem... I still have installed some programs that I wasn't able to uninstall because of that

Try un-installing both. If you can't un-install one because of registry errors, download Spybot Search and Destroy to fix them.

After:
Reinstalling XWE
Reinstalling Photoshop
Removing Photoshop
Removing XWE
Disassociating the file...
Still busted :(

If you uninstall a program, all the files associated to it must be disassociated. If you needed to do this manually, then this means that Windows made some stupid error...

Thanks, Bill Gates, eh?

Once someone can help me out with BMP -> Sprite, I can start suggesting SRB2WE as an alternative :P.
