Wow, this whole PSP thing is starting to win my affection.

Yesterday, I bought Megaman Powered Up and Megaman Maverick Hunter X. PU is the best. (I swear to God if you make fun of the initials, I'll kill you) It's a remake of Megaman 1. You can play as the bosses, make your own levels (!!!) and a whole bunch of other goodies.

I'm starting to love my PSP. (Again, not like that. No jokes.)

Edit: Just because I know some asshole "smart guys" are going to say "lol pu" or "lol you sex ur psp", I'm going to request a lock, and let this statement stand by itself.

I took a look at some screenshots from Megaman Powered Up just the other day. Though a remake like that still isn't enough to make me buy the PSP. Sony doesn't impress me.

I do really, really want the Mega Man remakes... but that's not enough to make me want a PSP. Nor are Wipeout, Lumines, Daxter, or the whole homebrew thing (which I'd foresee being the largest use of my PSP - assuming I got one in the first place), really. I want to finish Dawn of Sorrow, thanks.

I agree with them. It's not enough to make me buy a PSP.

Which is a shame, because those two games look quite awesome. My friend has MHX, and he says its an absolute blast; he's supposedly gonna let me borrow it when he finishes it. I was sold on the voice acting and the soundtrack alone; I've already got the entire OST, and I heard X arguing with Armored Armadillo while I was watching my friend play, and that was superb. (so much better than X4's VA)

And I've heard some fine things about MMPU as well (playable Protoman and Roll for one).

I think in Powered Up you can also play as one of the robot masters from Megaman I. Not sure what that's all about.

All of them. If you defeat the Robot Masters with just your Mega Buster as opposed to using special weapons on them, you end up taking them back to Dr. Light's to be reprogrammed instead of killing them, and gain the ability to play as them. You can do this with all 8 supposedly.

Not sure whether they'll make use of that later on (like, say, have all 8 Robot Masters from MMPU playable in MM2PU or something).

Personally, the only things I want on PSP are Lumines and Valkyrie Profile's port. Not enough to justify a 250 dollar purchase for me.

There's an exclusive PSP Sonic game coming out for it.

*everyone changes their minds*

Anyway, how come everyone's such a Nintendo fanboy? It's not just the PSP, but everything else, too.

Bigboi, we're not Nintendo fanboys. The thing is, the DS has a lot more going for it than the PSP. Most of us here are gamers, meaning we buy systems for games. Now, I don't know about others, but here's the comparison for me:

DS:
Metroid
Mario Kart
Kirby
Lunar
GBA games including MMBN and Sonic

PSP:
...

I have to agree with ST218 there.

DS:
Sonic rush
Me likey touch screen games
Metroid prime: Hunters
MKDS
So entertaining

PSP:
A brick for use in house building.

All these companys (except nintendo) aren't bothered about games anymore, they don't get what "Gaming" really is :/

The PSP has both Power Stones coming soon. But then I already have them for the DC, and the PSP's screen-lag isn't going to make the chaos any easier to keep track of...
