First question has been solved. Now, I have a new issue:

Even though I've installed the drivers for my laptop, I'm unable to connect my laptop to my router, the message being "Limited or No Connectivity." I'm not sure what my wireless card is, but my laptop is an HP Pavilion dv2419us Notebook PC.

I'd appreciate any help.

Since when does booting up the Windows Setup Recovery Console require a password?

Try rebooting a few times to be sure, Windows is funny like that. If you're on Vista you can do a startup recovery, else grab hal.dll off the disc and replace the one on the screwed up installation.

Alternatively, boot up a Linux Live disc (I recommend Ubuntu) and use that to replace hal.dll with the appropriate one for your version of Windows.

Hal.dll is an essential DLL to the startup of Windows, most likely you'll have to reformat. Only solution I can think of.

Well, I made a new partition and am currently installing TinyXP on it. Now just to see how this goes.

EDIT: It installed fine, but now I am having router issues, check the first post.
