JJames mentioned the idea for me to host a semi-dedicated server, so heck, why not?
I have a very good connection (used to be dial-up, but i recently got a cable connection. w00t). and you shouldnt have any lag whatsoever, unless another player causes the lag of course. I probuly wont be on it much myself, but the least i can do is allow others to join and such, and enjoy a luxorious lag free game. XD
I wont have it up and running just yet, as im finnishing up some major downloads. but for now, id like to know what people who are interested in joining the server would want the settings to be (as in gametype, wads if any, ect.). also feel free to post any questions for now.
i will make a post mentioning when the server will be up and running, probuly in a few hours from now.
