I sure hope not. Having completed gamedata is helpful for testing and also if you upgrade or backup your pc.

Hum...I'd sure like the gamedata.dat to be unprotected. I'd rather be lazy and get a full and complete save (After raging hours trying to get emblems by myself.). Though, making it protected would force people to be less lazy and work for their bread.
