The 1st time I heard Linkin Park was maybe in Jay-Z's song "Encore".

Yeah, I like Linkin Park. Pretty awesome.

I wouldn't call them the greatest band ever, that space is reserved for Papa Roach. :P (<3 <3 <3)

SWEET! I knew some people had to like them. After all, they've released 4 albums,(Hybrid Theory, Reanimation, Meteora, Minutes to Midnight, in order of release) where most bands release 2 and are never heard from again...
