I was just wondering because I got srb2 the past months and I havent saw no servers on, is it because im coming on at the wrong times or are there private servers I dont know about?

type this in console:
masterserver ms.srb2.org:28900

You could also have the wrong version. Did you download the patch from the SRB2 website?

Use the Master Server launcher if you don't see servers. Logan really needs to get the Master Server back up.
