Where can I find better wad editors?

My original wad editors XWE and Slump do not work on windows 7.
Can anyone tell how I could get better wad editors or tell me how to make XWE and Slump work on my computer?

You can try using SLADE, much better than XWE in my opinion, SLumpEd is inferior to SLADE and was discontinued, but here's how to use XWE and SLumpEd anyways.

I know how to use them but they do not work on my windows 7, only works on my windows xp.
However I will try slade editor to see if it works.

Whenever I use SlumpEd on the windows 7 computer it says:

"The program can't start because MSVCP71.dll is missing from your computer. 
Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

SLADE is SLumpEd; it's the most recent version of it.

XWE works. You just need to open XWE as administrator. SRB2 doom builder for mapping and XWE for all another else.
