What's the matter with the (Master) Server?

Some days ago, the master server went offline. Right now, it's too, but... Somewhat it isn't like so (it's still listing the servers, with the offline message). Are these two recent falls due to 'normal reasons' like improving it, or something else? I know i could simply post this as a reply in any thread about the Master Server, but i don't think 2 falls in somewhat a week are normal...

Yes, the MS is offline from time to time. I don't know why, and it doesn't really matter. Making a thread about it won't make it come back online any faster.
