Uh no, it's based off a very popular recurring meme where people put drip shoes on characters and call it (character) drip. You definitely recognize Among Drip, this is just the SRB2 rendition of it. Nezt thing you know js thst Sonic and friends will wear supreme merch.

That retweeted picture I believe is just taking part in the drip shoes meme and not a mod being made(correct me if I'm wrong), but it does look like when Logan eventually releases his newer SRB2 2.2 Low Poly 3D Model set that he'll toss in an extra version of his Sonic with the drip meme shoes as part of the download!
