What happened to the Sonic CuLt forums?

A few weeks ago, I was looking on those forums and saw that there hadn't been any new posts since November 12, 2005. I'm guessing the forum was closed for the good of the community. What lead up to this? I would really like to know.

Uh, they definitely weren't closed. Moved, perhaps, but following the link on the front page definitely brings you to actual forums that you can actually post on.

Or, at least, it would, if CulT wasn't relocating right now. Or taking S2Beta along for the ride with it. That's only a temporary thing, though, so that won't be an issue in the near future.

Why is it that people decide to have random topics on stuff like this? I mean, "Why did forumsvibe go down?", how should we know? There are other places to discuss that stuff, it may be General Discussion but still...
