I think he wants to know which wadding program was primarily used in creating the game's levels, in which case, I believe that SSN uses DeepSea. I think Mystic uses WadAuthor, not quite sure.
 
DeepSea, DCK, WadAuthor, and DoomBuilder (One of those new levels was likely made using DB) are all programs used to make the actual levels. As for the programming, that's pure coded hell based from Doom Legacy.

No, that I do know, and I use Doom Builder. I just wanted to know the game programming software because I need something to do this summer, because every summer I am always bored out of my wits. :|
 
Probably could. The only real difference (As far as I know) is that C++ organizes code in some sort of hierarchy.

I think SSN uses DCK.
 
AJ currently uses DeepSea. He did used to use DCK. I use WadAuthor, and always have, but I use Doombuilder to optimize the map.

SRB2 itself is programmed in C. I believe C++ is backwards compatible to a certain extent, but the structure is a bit different. I'm not a programmer, though, so you'd probably find better information on Google.

2. bad news. The C++ installer had 17 nonfatal errors listed in the errorlog.

The exe wouldn't load.
